2. To search for the book "Mystery of Banshee Towers", it is not necessary to type the entire name. You can simply type Banshee Towers |

Example 2: If you only know the author's name, then type just that and leave the Title and ISBN fields empty.
Example 3: If you know the author's name, but remember only a part of the title of the book (say, "Enid Blyton" and "Letters"), then type only those details into the
Title and
Author fields, and you will locate the book—"The Mystery of the Spiteful Letters".
Tips To Improve Your Chance Of Finding A Book Quickly

If you know the
ISBN Number of the book, this is the quickest way to locate the book.

If you are searching by either the
Title or the
Author fields,
the more information you give the easier it will be to locate the book you are looking for. For example, if you look for "Elm Street", it will find hundreds of books that contain the words "Elm Street" in their title. But, if you look for "Genius of Elm Street", it will at once throw up the book—"Claudia and the Genius of Elm Street"

If searching by only the Title field brings up too many entries, you can
shorten the list by filling the Author
field as well. For example, when you search for "Island of Adventure" it finds hundreds of books that contain both "Island" and "Adventure" in their title. However, if you also type "Enid Blyton" in the
Author field, it will at once show you the book—"Island of Adventure".
